Will You Join Us?

Five of us have committed to contribute $10 each a month to a chosen family who is adding to their family through the international adoption of a special needs orphan.  Not only is your contribution tax deductible, but you will have the privilege and fun of reading about the family's trip to meet their new child.

Every dollar counts. Truly.

If you're interested in helping, but don't want to commit to donations at this time, think about using GoodSearch instead of your usual search engine. It costs nothing but each search you make raises money for your chosen charity. You can even install a toolbar with your charity already designated so that you don't forget!   http://www.goodsearch.com/ Reese's Rainbow is listed on GoodSearch as is JDRF.

Now, on to other matters!

We had a great weekend, although Rebecca was confined to sitting down for most of it as she hurt her knee playing volleyball. Nicholas had a birthday party Friday and Annie spent a good portion of Saturday at the mall with a friend. SAturday night we watched Secretariat, which I had seen, but which Troy had not. It was as wonderful as I remembered. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it.

Last but not least, I made a few layouts. :)

Have a wonderful week!

Another Monday Catch Up Post

I hope you all had great weekends. Mine seemed awfully short.  Although it was a quiet weekend, it was a good one. I love being home with my family and spending time with them. This weekend Rebecca decided that she was going to try out new recipes.  I think she dirtied just about every dish in the house yesterday but came up with four new "Rebecca" specialties. She had so much fun and was so proud of her results! :)

Here's some layouts from the past week:

From Creative Victorian Designs: Combobulated

From Snowkissed by Becca

Three layouts from Designs by Helly:

This was made for a "2 Page" Challenge at Scrapbook Bytes using Reflections of Love (with Laitha's Designs)

and this one was for the lyrics challenge at SBB using Helly's Awakening

I made three other layouts for challenges at SBB.

This one was for the Progressive 8 Hour Challenge:

For the scraplift challenge

And the Inspired challenge where I had to use components of 8 different layouts to create a new page

This one is from Raspberry Road's Botanical Bliss.

You can grab a free cluster I made here.

I also made this one for Ania (AneczkaW) using Moonlight Sonata.

Finally, I made a few just for fun.  This one got a GSO at DST.

And finally- my Arr Journal Page for the week.

Have a great Monday!

Happy Monday!

It has been awhile since I posted. I hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I'm a bit pressed for time today so am just going to share what I've been working on. I'll try to do a catch up post later this week.

The first is a layout with the kit Royal Dallianceby Siamese Studio.

The second is a "lift" of Crash in the Christmas Village by Nancy.  The kit is Into the Night from Designs by Helly and Veronica Spriggs.

Next is a layout from  An Enchanted Evening  from Designs by Helly.

I also have two layouts from Raspberry Roads.

The first is from Timeless Victorian.

I also made a free cluster frame with this kit which you can snag on the Creative Team Blog here.

This one was made with Raspberry Tea

and you can grab the quickpage freebie I made here.

This one was made "just for fun" using Kitty Chen's Bee Buzz Buzz and Shimmer Morning kits.

I also started the new 2011 Art Journal Caravan with my first journal page for the year.

And last but not least, Helly has a new mini kit called Timeless Beauty out today for only $1.00. It coordinates with all the other Grab a Bytes at SBB.

That's it for today! Have a great one!
